Java Back End Developer

Job Description:

 

ISEC7 Government Services is looking to recruit experienced and highly motivated individuals to join our team. The Java Back End Developer well develop features, functionality, and QA on software and system, bug verification and rectification, release testing, and client support. Qualified full-time candidates located near the Baltimore area.  

Hybrid Work environment.

 

The Backend Developer will have deep technical knowledge Java, Javascript and React and will apply problem-solving skills to complex client requirements and integrations. 

 

Your Primary Tasks:

​

  • Participates in design meetings and consults with other staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.

  • Participates in client meetings on application releases, troubleshooting, maintenance as well as feature requests

  • Performs release testing and beta support for assigned projects and resolves problems found in the software.

  • Prepares documentation required of the product.

  • Participates with new client installations of software

  • Share and gain knowledge through communication, collaboration and knowledge transfer amongst ISEC7 technical team

  • Work within a larger team to strengthen customer relationships and work on strategies for immediate and long-term service delivery plans.

  • Drive and participate in proactive delivery management, spot performance issues, analyze problems, and provide solutions to meet customer needs.

  • Apply lessons learned for continuous process and delivery improvement for the customer.

  • Assist with writing technical documentation in support of integrations and project requirements

  • Support the development of materials for and provide technical product training to clients

  • Support sales with technical proposals for new project Statements of Work (SOWs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs)

Minimum Qualifications:

​

  • CompTIA Security+

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related technical field. An equivalent combination of education, certification, and relevant experience may be considered.

  • Advanced knowledge in Java, Javascript, React

  • Advanced knowledge in Apple IOS/Android development

  • Ability and willingness to work cross-functionally within a small, dynamic team

  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new solutions, technologies and products

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

 

Additional Qualifications:

 

  • DoD Clearance

  • Experience working with Federal and DoD agencies
